Congratulations!!!! How exciting! I hope you get feeling better soon, and are able to get out of bed. I spent most of my last pregnancy in bed, so I know how that feels.
I had my kids at 22 and 23!!!! I would have loved another, but that option wasn't there for me. I'm 41, now, and still get that urge every once in a while...sigh....I think if I could, I still would! So do not feel old at 29. My SIL is actually a few months older than me, and her youngest is 2-yrs. old. ( She and I are both 41)
I hope you get your boy, though I know you'll love another little girl.
When I was pregnant with my first child, I knew the baby was a boy...one of those intuition things. I even called the baby "Baby Jess". I planned to name him Jess, after my dad.
Well...I was so shocked to have a girl. It took me days to get used to the fact that my baby was actually a girl! LOL!!! I was so surprised, and so absolutely over the moon for her that I spent days in shock over the whole thing! LOL!!!!! I even had brought a little baby boy outfit to the hospital to take her home in! My mother in law had to go out and buy her something girlie to wear home!
I knew that my second child was actually, truly a boy. I had a late term ultra sound, and even I could tell he was a boy. No one told me he was a boy, though they offered to tell me the baby's gender. DH was not with me, and I went home and asked his permission. My neighbor was the ultra sound tech that day, so we called her at home, and she confirmed what I had seen. So...we called him "Baby Jess" for the next two weeks, until he made an appearance. Babies are so much fun...and the waiting is such sweet agony, don't you think?

Congratulations!- I have 2 girls, and a little boy, I was 32 when he was born. I was the sickest with my pregnancy with him, but he is a healthy little stinker.
Finally, someone for Daddy to play Thomas the Tank Engine with.

Congrats, Mary Jo! I can definitely sympathize with the sinus and tickly cough. It was not fun. I felt really old having my first and only child at age 33 although I did bounce back pretty fast. She's going on 16, time flies! I wish you good health and a beautiful healthy baby too.
